French artist, born in Dieppe in 1980, I live and work in Caen, in Normandy. I draw my inspiration from the tradition of the great classical painters, ancient and contemporary, who sought, using a powerful pictorial technique, to analyze and transcribe the constituent elements of the visual experience, namely the shapes of things and light. which makes these forms visible.

From 1988 to 1998, I learned drawing in two workshops in Caen, the Flichy workshop and the Contat workshop.

In 2022, I learned the art of portraiture with pastels from Cuong NGUYEN, Californian artist, member of theOil Painters of America and theInternational Guild of Realism.

In 2023, I learned painting from David GRAY, an internationally renowned painter and trainer, who provides teaching on the classic schools and techniques of oil painting. He taught me to begin each painting with a careful drawing, maintaining constant attention to values as well as colors, and then to work methodically from dark to light to create a refined naturalistic form.  ;
